Wondering what to watch now that you've bulldozed right through the latest season of Mindhunter? This list has you covered. The acclaimed true crime series gets viewers straight into the minds of serial killers, but it's far from the only show on the air that allows you to delve into the rabbit hole that is the mind of a murderer. Our data tells us these shows are highly likely to please Mindhunter fans, whether it's because they have similar subject matter, share the same dark tone, or just happen to share a lot of the same fans. If you're itching for something equally eerie to watch after binging the second season, we've got plenty of data that says you'll love these shows and movies.

  • Mindhunter fans are 7X more likely to love True Detective

Television that delves into the darkest depths of the human psyche has never been more popular. True Detective deftly mixes true crime, detective procedural, and conspiracy theory to create one of the darker breakout shows in recent memory. Though most critics and viewers agree that this anthology show went off the rails during its second season, fans of Mindhunter are almost certain to love both the first season and the latest one, which stars Mahershala Ali.

Mindhunter fans are 5X more likely to love The Silence of the Lambs

It's hardly shocking that people who like Mindhunter tend to also like The Silence of the Lambs, one of the first and best movies to focus on the psyche of a highly intelligent, highly disturbed killer. Much like Detective Ford, FBI trainee Clarice Starling is trying to understand serial killers in order to catch them, enlisting the help of incarcerated cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter in order to track down a man called "Buffalo Bill" who skins his victims. Gruesome, engrossing, and one of the best performances ever given by either Jodie Foster or Anthony Hopkins, this movie is worth watching no matter how many times you've seen it before.

Mindhunter fans are 7X more likely to love Hannibal

If you love Mindhunter and you've already seen The Silence of the Lambs, there's an NBC show you absolutley have to watch. Hannibal is centered around the cannibalistic anti-hero of Silence of the Lambs Dr. Hannibal Lecter before his incarceration, when he was still a forensic psychiatrist with the FBI. Lecter is hoping to undermine and influence the FBI's activity through his treatment of profiler Will Graham, but begins to shift his focus towards pushing Graham into insanity. Mindhunter fans will see parallels between Will Graham and Holden Ford, two detectives trying to walk the line between misunderstanding violent criminals and empathizing with them — or even becoming one of them.

Mindhunter fans are 8X more likely to love Ozark

Ozark deals more with drugs and organized crime than with lone wolf serial killers, but brings a lot of the same dark and ambient sense of danger that keeps viewers of Mindhunter biting their nails. One of Netflix's more popular current original seriesOzark stars Jason Bateman as a financial planner who must work off a debt to a Mexican cartel by laundering drug money from a Missouri motel. Think of it as Netflix's response to Breaking Bad, and as the perfect follow-up watch once you're all finished with the latest season of Mindhunter.
