Every four years, Americans deal with the prospect of Sarah Palin running for president and even though she rarely makes it past the debate stage of her presidential campaign, we still have to wonder what would happen if Sarah Palin was elected. It’s hard to imagine Sarah Palin as president. For many, Palin becoming the commander in chief is a nightmare scenario, while plenty of others think her folksy style would indeed make America great (again). It's entirely hypothetical, but here we ponder a Sarah Palin presidency.
What would Sarah Palin do if she became president? Is there any way to truly know what kind of alternate universe we’d be thrust into if she were ever to receive the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the Presidency? We may not have a crystal ball, but we do have the ability to look at her policy history and imagine the strange world where Sarah Palin takes over the White House.
While most of her policies are full of the run of the mill states rights, drill baby drill rhetoric we’re used to hearing from her, some of Palin’s political beliefs are actually more in line with Bernie Sanders and his ilk than you’d think. It’s time to ask "What if Sarah Palin was president?" Vote up the actions you think Sarah Palin would take if she ended up in the Oval Office.
