Which Hayao Miyazaki Character Would You Be, According To Your Zodiac Sign?

Astrology is an ancient art that can predict the future, reveal secrets about your personality, and even match you to Miyazaki characters based on your zodiac sign. Maybe it's a little unconventional to star sign traditionalists, but nerdy astrology is far from unheard of. Your zodiac sign can even tell you what Naruto character you are, or what your patronus would be. Whether you're a die-hard astrology fanatic, or just think it's harmless fun - pop culture astrology is here to help you understand yourself though the things you love.

    Aries March 21 - April 19: Mei

Aries is a strong and impulsive sign - which makes it the perfect match for Mei Kusakabe from My Neighbor Totoro. Ariens are definitely the type of four year olds to try to bring their mom some sweet corn and get lost along the way. When Totoro roars at an Aries they're going to roar right back, and then probably fall asleep on his fur later. After all, it takes a lot of energy to be so wild. An Aries' no fear attitude can also get them into trouble, and worry their friends and family when things eventually don't go well.

    Taurus April 20 - May 20: Yubaba

If any sign is one to make it rich, it's Taurus. Taureans love to earn money, power, and prestige, and they'll often do almost anything to get it. This is what makes them such a good match for Yubaba, the proprietor of the bathhouse from Spirited Away. Yubaba is an expert businesswoman who runs a tight ship, and she'll do just about anything to make some gold - even entertaining a vicious spirit bent on eating her employees. That being said she's also doggedly persistent, and the same can be said for Taureans. They will work tirelessly to reach success, though, with their shrewd acumen, most heights don't take long for them to reach.

    Gemini May 21 - June 20: No-Face

Much like No-Face from Spirited Away, Geminis are quick-witted and adaptable. They're versatile nature means they can match the energy of whoever is around them, which isn't always a good thing. Just like when No-Face reacted to the greed they found in the spirit's bathhouse, a Gemini can find themselves turning to dark deeds to please the wrong people. It goes the other way as well though, and when both Geminis and No-Face are around the right company they can be caring, sweet, and downright contemplative.

    Cancer June 21 - July 22: San

If any sign is suited to match the fierceness of the wolf princess San from Princess Mononoke, it's Cancers. Cancers are incredibly loyal to their home, and down right vicious when those they love are threatened. Both Cancers and San are stubborn, courageous, and often short-tempered. It comes from a place of love though, as both have an unwavering dedication to their family - even if it means assassinating the ruler of Irontown.

    Leo July 23 - August 22: Howl

Howl Jenkins-Pendragon from Howl's Moving Castle, is vain, braggadocious, and incredibly confident. These are all traits he shares with Leos. This shared nature is far from negative however, because both Howl and Leos can often back up their boastful peacocking with genuine skill. They just have to watch out that they're holding their negative sides in check, as the ones who brag the loudest are often the most insecure. Leos insecurities often come out when they are near people with a keen eye - as the Sophie Hatters of the world can see right through a Leos act straight to their fiery heart.

    Virgo August 23 - September 22: Jirō

Jirō Horikoshi is the protagonist of Hayao Miyazaki's fifth film The Wind Rises. He's smart, exacting, and determined to fulfill his dreams. All defining traits of a Virgo. When a Virgo finds a passion, they will work tirelessly to improve it. They're not satisfied enjoying something, they want to improve it. Just like Jirō, they'll fight to make things better - even if it's not in the way they first envisioned.
