There might be no more important quality in a politician than being trustworthy. Does a person say things because they truly believe them, and want to help make them happen - or just to get votes and publicity? Do they seem like they truly want to help people and make the world a better place, or are they out for themselves? It's not always easy to tell.
Few things turn people off more than an elected official being caught in a lie - yet it happens quite often. With the 2016 election coming, voters have another chance to show who they find to be the most trustworthy of candidates, and who might be hiding something selfish or dishonest. Now you have that chance too - vote up the potential Republican nominees you find to be the most trustworthy and vote down the 2016 Republican candidates you don't quite believe, or think can't be trusted at all.
