Which States Should Be Their Own Countries?

Ever visit somewhere in the United States that seemed so drastically different from where you're from, it felt like stepping into foreign territory? Maybe it's the way the people there think or dress or act, but something about the state makes you think they'd thrive if only they governed themselves.
