Who Should Buy the Los Angeles Clippers?

In the wake the much publicized Donald Sterling race scandal, the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team are very likely to be on the selling block in the coming weeks. Who should buy the team from the embattled, lifetime-banned owner? Many have spoken about their interest in owning the team, including Magic Johnson, who was the subject of Sterling's racist comments. Johnson, along with Guggenheim Partners, already owns the Los Angeles Dodgers, and would be fitting ownership in light of what just happened. A number of entertainment moguls have thrown their names into the ring as well. Rappers like Puff Daddy and Rick Ross want a piece of the Clips, as does billionaire David Geffen, who actually tried to buy the team back in 2010. Others include Oscar De La Hoya, Oprah Winfrey, and even Sterling's wife, Shelly. Not to be discounted are the tandem from Seattle. With the Sonics having left town a few years ago, don't be surprised to see Chris Hansen and co. make a run at the Clippers.

So who will buy the Clippers? We'll find out sooner than later.
