Who Should Host the 2021 Oscars?

List RulesVote up the celebs you would most like to see host the Oscars. Repeat hosts are okay.

Who should host the next Oscars? Academy Award hosts throughout the years have been hilarious, fallen flat, caused controversy, and everything in between! Some of the best Oscar hosts were people you wouldn't expect, but who had the charisma and skills to do the job right. This list of who should host the Oscars includes actors, actresses, musicians, and potent personalities who could carry the weight of one of the biggest award season events. In 2020, the Academy Awards chose to have previous Oscar hosts Steve Martin and Chris Rock to do the opening monologue.

Dwayne Johnson, Jason Momoa, and Ryan Reynolds all might just have the right combination of looks, charm, and personality to comfortably hold court during the Academy Award ceremony. Their action-hero histories might also make them a more modern choice that can keep the Oscars relevant.

For a different kind of charm and a guarantee you'll be laughing with the ceremony and not at it, actors and personalities like Chrissy Teigen, Mindy Kaling, and Tiffany Haddish are favorites. Hosts who can truly improvise rather than react along with the teleprompter like SNL alums like Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler - the latter of which already hosted a successful Golden Globes - would make for a memorable event.

Vote up the people who should host the Oscars and add any celebrities you think we snubbed.
