There are so many dominant pitchers in the game of baseball today as evident by the average strikeout rate of many MLB batters going up and their batting average going down. So with Homer Bailey throwing his second no-hitter in two days I was wondering which MLB pitcher will be the next one to go nine without allowing a hit. If I were a betting man my money would be on Matt Harvey, Homer Bailey, Clayton Kershaw or Chris Sale, but as you know I'm a man of the people. So I want to know what the people of Ranker think, who do you think will be the next pitcher to go nine without allowing a hit, I put 20 pitchers that I think all have a chance of doing the unthinkable, but if you think I left someone out, add them in. Enjoy!
Clayton Kershaw is a dominant left-handed American who pitches for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Clayton is one of the top young pitchers in the game, he won the Triple Crown for pitching in 2011, it's just a matter of time before he throws a perfect game or a no-hitter. see more on Clayton Kershaw
Felix Hernanadez is a dominant right-handed Venezuelan who pitches for the Seattle Mariners. King Felix has alredy thrown one perfect game, and I wouldn't be surprised if he throws another one. see more on Félix Hernández
Chris Sale is a dominant left-handed American who pitches for the Chicago White Sox. Chris Sale pitching repertoire is NASTY, earlier this season he pitched a one hit shutout, with the lone hit coming from Mike Trout, it's just a matter of time before Chris doesn't allow any hits. see more on Chris Sale
Matt Harvey is a dominant right-handed American who pitches for the New York Mets. Matt Harvey has had two no-hitters broken up in the sixth inning twice already in his young career. It's just a matter of time till he is able to go through all nine without allowing a hit. see more on Matt Harvey
