The Biggest Fashion Risks On The 2018 Golden Globes Red Carpet
At the 75th annual Golden Globes, most celebrities wore black to show their solidarity with Time’s Up, a post-Weinstein initiative meant to highlight systemic harassment, injustice and inequality toward women across industries. As the rowdier younger sister of the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes have traditionally been the one awards show where celebs can get away with wearing outfits out of the ordinary. And even though 2018 restrained many to a single base color, some celebs still managed to get weird with it. The year's uniform of solidarity certainly didn't keep the top fashion houses away, and many attending stars managed to make some very distinct choices with their all-black attire.
Globes-related talk of the town typically revolves around speeches, awards snubs, wins, and always, of course, who was wearing what. In 2018, while the conversation centered around Time's Up and Oprah's speech, there was still a fair share of red carpet dissection. There were some really stunning looks (the little black dress is classic for a reason) and a lot of hip pantsuits. But many of the worst Golden Globes looks involved juxtaposed or single sleeves, sheer gauze, and too much tulle. Some of the worst outfits on Golden Globes red carpet were not so much bad as they were confusing.
It takes so much work to dress up for these formal events that it's always shocking who puts in the work only to be the worst dressed. But these celebrities managed to do it. All of these lovely people are the worst dressed celebrities at 2018 Golden Globes. Vote up the most cringe-worthy outfits seen at the 75th annual awards ceremony.
