    Diablo Immortal
    Video: YouTube

A game we all knew would be on this list but some hoped and prayed wouldn't Diablo Immortal lived up to everyone's expectations. Now, in no sense is Diablo Immortal a bad game. It's masterfully made and is incredibly fun to play. The problem lies where each and every consumer knew it would come from, the ludicrous and outright manipulative monetization of the “free to play” methods. Locking items and skills that are an absolute necessity behind outrageous paywalls that are not even guaranteed to work, disastrous RNG for equipment, and an overall gross feeling of greed and capitalism ruined what could have been a masterful mobile game, because yes, we indeed to have phones.

    Babylon's Fall
    Video: YouTube

From horrifying graphics to mind-numbingly generic storytelling to a repetitive and stale combat system, Babylon's Fall manages to do something truly remarkable; create a truly joyless and maddening exercise in gaming. The game isn't completely broken or clunky in any way but is so uniquely mediocre in every single aspect of its being that it creates one of the most bizarre and boring video games to come out in years.

    CrossfireX
    Video: YouTube

Somehow, CrossfireX's broken, ill-conceived, microtransaction-bombarding mess of a multiplayer is topped by a dull, incomplete, and incompetent single-player experience that will undoubtedly have players questioning their very sanity. Mediocrity meets messy, the few moments of levity and fun are due to the bugs and sloppiness of the game, players will spend more time laughing at the game than enjoying it.

    Deadcraft
    Video: YouTube

In what seemed to be an incredibly unique and fun idea, Deadcraft managed to get its originality and promise tangled in the weeds of video game creation and bogged down by its own mismanagement. Repetitive level design, poor graphics, and overall flaws on a fundamental level tied with bleak and tedious gameplay to create a dreadful game that simply wasn't fun to play. On top of this, the bizarre controller ports made playing the game much more challenging than it ever needed to be.

    Chocobo GP

Often times good games get bogged gets down by microtransactions, battle pass gimmicks, and maddening grinding techniques as time progresses to try to make a last-ditch effort to make another buck on the product, but rarely do they jump out of the gate with these tactics! Chocobo GP is a relatively fun, if not an inventive cart-racing game that got completely destroyed due to outside sources and sadly seems like nothing more than a cash grab.

  • The Cycle: Frontier
    Video: YouTube

A wonderful little free-to-play shooter, The Cycle: Frontier doesn't fail on the efforts of being a poorly made game, instead, it is everything that happened after its release that essentially destroyed this once thriving indie game. A litany of hackers and cheaters have made their way to the servers and with seemingly no jurisdiction coming from the creators of the game, they have been granted immunity to roam the gaming landscape and make this a completely mind-numbing and controller-smashing time for anyone who dares enter a lobby.
