List of the worst movies that grossed over 1 billion dollars, as ranked by movie fans and critics. These days, the worth of a movie is usually graded by the amount of money it takes in at the box office.However, the highest grossing movies of all time are rarely ever the most critically acclaimed. In fact the movies that often make the most money are fueled on massive explosions, 20 minute chase scenes, bloody fight sequences,and random nudity, rather than quality. The movies usually have stilted dialogue, gaping plot holes, and are completely forgettable once you leave the theater.
The movies on this list have each grossed over a billion dollars, making them the most successful movies of all time. However, the quality of these movies is not always that great. They don’t often get nominated for anything more than an MTV movie award. The special effects are usually more noteworthy than the script or the acting. In fact many of the movies on this list received negative reviews from many of the most respected film critics in the business.
