The 25 Worst Power Rangers Monsters That Were Too '90s For Words

List RulesVote up the Power Rangers monsters that make you want to roll your eyes and say, "As if!"

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers premiered in 1993, and changed the lives of '90s kids permanently. For the unfamiliar (see: losers), it was this crazy, live-action beat-em-up based on the Super Sentai series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger.

The show revolves around a group of five teenagers with "attitude" (the attitude was that they hated monsters and loved friendship) that make up the Power Rangers. They were led by their mentor Zordon, and his quirky robotic assistant Alpha 5.

The rangers battled against the evil witch Rita Repulsa and her minions, who were accidentally freed from their confinement on the moon. See, Rita's monsters were really the star of the show. Every week they would cook up some crazy new concoction and create a giant foam abomination (that some poor underpaid actor would have to nearly sweat to death inside of as he was beaten over the head with rubber swords).

The monsters in Power Rangers were usually made from whatever the villains had laying around, but more often than not if felt like they were made from whatever the writers room came up with in 10 minutes.

Take a trip down memory lane and revisit the '90s as we rank the worst-of-the-worst monsters from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!

    Crabby Cabbie

Sometimes you have to wonder if there were even trying some weeks. Crabby Cabbie is monster made from... a taxi cab.

He's basically a malformed humanoid taxi that walks (drives?) around and chases people with a sword. He wasn't even part crab or anything. Missed opportunity, MMPR.

    Mr. Ticklesneezer

Easily the least threatening enemy of all time, Mr. Ticklesneezer was a friendly elf, who just kind of liked collecting large objects. Come on, Rita, it's like you're not even trying.

Straight out of a Microsoft '95 screensaver, this Season 2 enemy was made from an old karate trophy and looks like a rejected Dali piece.

How high would you have to be to come up with a giant pineapple/octopus monster that dressed like a jester and called himself Pineapple the Clown? The writers of this Season 1 MMPR episode know the exact answer to that question.
