List Rules Vote up the most awful seasons of SNL.

With so many years on the air, the seasons of Saturday Night Live run the gamut from amazing to awful. Beause the good seasons of the show are so good, the worst seasons of SNL often seem like a betrayal, with horrible sketches that haunt our memories for decades.

Some bad seasons of Saturday Night Live spawned characters that went on to have monstrous movies, others had moments and sketches that were iffy then and awful now. With so many members of the cast, some seasons just weren't as blessed with talent as the others. There are great seasons of SNL, but somewhere after 20 seasons (and especially after 40 seasons), there were going to have to be some definitively terrible seasons of SNL, just by sheer odds.

Each season of SNL has at least one memorably terrible episode, so it isn't necessarily easy to figure out what the worst season is. Vote up any of the seasons that were no good entries into the archives of Saturday Night Live.
