Baby boomers love to label millennials the worst generation: they're rude, lazy, entitled, buried in their smart phones, and incapable of human interaction. But baby boomers need to take a good look at themselves in the mirror, because they have some serious flaws of their own, including the ways they've shaped the millennial generation.
It's time for baby boomers to own up to their mistakes. This list is full of the worst things about baby boomers. Statistically, if you're reading this, you're probably a millennial. But when you're done reading, send it to all the baby boomers you know. Maybe they'll start changing their tune.
Businesses and government run by baby boomers created the 2008 financial crisis. Because of their "more more more" attitude, they thought it was a good idea to take risks like investing in housing properties, which created the housing bubble.
They ran the banks that traded derivatives, and ran the government that failed to regulate them. They forced their children to enter a miserable job market.
Baby boomers received relatively cheap education and entered a rapidly expanding job market. They want their children to believe that they were successful because of their hard work, but the reality is they were just lucky.
If baby boomers had to deal with what millennials currently have to deal with - massive student debt and a ruthless job market - they wouldn't be nearly as successful.

Their Excesses Caused Rampant Environmental Destruction
This is not to absolve other generations from any blame for environmental destruction - we all have room to improve here - but because the baby boomers were the generation of excess, they caused the most damage.
They ran businesses that burned dirty energy and dumped pollutants without any regard to what the consequences would be. And now, rather than trying to change their ways, they're leaving it to the younger generations to fix everything.
It's not just in Congress - baby boomers are apparently impossible to work with in all workplaces. A study on inter-generational dynamics among employees concluded that baby boomers are in fact the most difficult generation to work with.
They're so stubborn and set in their ways that they don't even want to work with one another.
