These photos feature young Chuck Norris, the internationally famous martial artist, film producer and movie star. After serving in the United States Air Force, Norris opened up his own martial arts school. He first appeared in film in the 1969 movie The Wrecking Crew. He ended up meeting Bruce Lee at a martial arts demonstration in 1970 and starred as his nemesis in the 1972 movie Way of the Dragon, which launched him into superstardom. He began taking acting lessons in 1974 and received his first lead role in 1977’s Breaker! Breaker! He dedicated his 1984 movie Missing in Action to his brother, Wieland, who was killed while serving in Vietnam. Norris has starred in popular movies such as Code of Silence, The Delta Force, Firewalker, Lone Wolf McQuade, An Eye for an Eye, Good Guys Wear Black and The Octagon.
