These photos feature a young Marilyn Manson, the controversial singer and actor who was born Brian Hugh Warner in 1969. As a young boy, Manson looked very normal compared to what he looks like today. He rocked a bowl cut in his childhood, and couldn't have looked more innocent. His first major CD release was in the 1990s and was titled “Antichrist Superstar.” Manson’s stage name was fashioned by combining two American icons who were made famous for two completely different reasons: Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. His first film role was in the 1997 David Lynch movie “Lost Highway.” He has had a number of minor roles, and was featured in an interview in the Michael Moore documentary “Bowling for Columbine,” which discussed whether Manson’s music was a factor in the violent shooting at Columbine High School in 1999. In September 2002, he showcased his first professional art show, titled “Genealogies of Pain.” The show was collaborated on with David Lynch and featured 20 original Manson art paintings. Manson was originally interested in studying journalism in the early 90s, and after featuring several different pieces about musicians, his interests quickly changed.
