This slideshow features photos of a young, handsome Mick Jagger. Born in Dartford, Kent, England on July 26, 1943, Jagger began singing at a very early age. He began participating in the school choir when he was a young lad, and grew up singing constantly. Het met his best friend and fellow Rolling Stones band mate, Keith Richards, in school in 1950. They were inseparable as kids, and got a flat together with Rolling Stones drummer, Brian Jones, after passing their O-Levels and A-Levels. They played their first gig at the Marquee Club in London in July 1962.
Where the Beatles were lovable mop tops with a peace-loving vibe, the Rolling Stones became their rambunctious, rock n' roll opposites. The Stones were mostly influence by the blues, and their first international hit, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, was a major success. The Rolling Stones established themselves as one of the most popular rock bands in the world, and Mick Jagger was their rebellious, flamboyant frontman.
Some of the best Rolling Stones albums include: The Rolling Stones (self-titled album), Out of Our Heads, Aftermath, December's Children, Between the Buttons, Beggar's Banquet, Their Satanic Majesties Request, Let It Bleed, Exile on Main St., Goats Head Soup, It's Only Rock and Roll, Black and Blue, Some Girls, Emotional Rescue, Tattoo You, Undercover, Dirty Work, Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon, and A Bigger Bang.
Mick Jagger also recorded several solo albums, such as: She's the Boss, Primitive Cool, Wandering Spirit, and Goddess in the Doorway.Vote for your favorite pictures of Mick Jagger when he was young below!
