    When Sheldon Is Sad Because No One Comes To His Party, And We Flash To His Future Friends

    In the Young Sheldon season two finale "A Swedish Science Thing and the Equation for Toast," Sheldon is brokenhearted that no one attended his party to listen to the Nobel Prize winners. At the end of the episode, the audience is given a glimpse of all of Sheldon's future friends as children. 

    The episode aired the same night as The Big Bang Theory series finale ("The Stockholm Syndrome"), which showed Sheldon surrounded by his friends as he wins the Nobel Prize.
