It's always interesting to see new wedding trends. A couple from Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight, in the United Kingdom pulled off the perfect zombie-themed wedding. Dean Pike and Blue Bailey-Hunt have been together for six years and identify as alternative, punk music lovers with little interest in anything "normal." Hunt, a therapist, agreed to a zombie wedding to her partner, Pike, a butcher, as a way to express themselves and keep things entertaining and fun. They weren't the only ones sporting zombie garb, either. The couple's two children, Dexter, five, and Zoli, two, dressed for the occasion, as did the wedding guests.
The zombie-themed wedding wasn't all about the wardrobe. The couple also went all out with every detail of the wedding and even the reception. Table centerpieces consisted of skulls, candles, and silicone body parts dripping with fake blood. The wedding cake was a gruesome torso with guts hanging out. They served red punch from a "bloody fountain." The wedding rings were presented to the couple on fake fingers sitting on a surgeon's tray. The wedding party favors? Axes engraved with "I killed it for Blue and Dean." The bride walked down the aisle to the tune of Rob Zombie's "Pussy Liquor."
The unique wedding photography was shot by Radek Gora, a Polish photographer based in the Isle of Wight, who specializes in macro and infrared photography. Gora's work can be viewed on his Instagram. Continue on to see all the bizarre and wondrous photographs from this gory and fun zombie wedding.
