(They may not be the greatest athlete of all time at all sports, but they have mastered their activity.)

Finally, it can be a challenge to compare an athlete who competed in a solo competition with a member of a well known sports organization or club. Feller won the American League pitching triple crown in 1940 after leading the league in wins, ERA and strikeouts. He played a key role in the 1948 championship team and remains the Indians leader in wins and strikeouts. More recently, the Indians have homegrown some of the greatest current players like C.C. Sabathia and Cliff Lee both getting their start in the big leagues with the Indians.

The 1990s saw a renaissance in Indians baseball. Led by some of the top Indians players ever like Albert Belle, Manny Ramirez, Sandy Alomar Jr., and Jim Thome, the Indians went to two World Series and went to the playoffs almost every year from 1995-2001 (2000 was the exception).
