Allan R. McKinnon

Allan Robert McKinnon is a former Massachusetts politician who served as a member of the Massachusetts State Senate from 1971 to 1985, Deputy Secretary of Transportation from 1985 to 1988, and Chairman of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority from 1988 to 1996. He retired in 1996. He was raised by his Mother, Sue McKinnon, in Weymouth, the youngest of 9 children. His father, Joseph McKinnon, died when he was 8 years old in 1938. He resided in Weymouth throughout his career with his wife, Anne McKinnon. He has four children; Kerin, Kevin, Sean and Megan.
