Dick Pound

Richard William Duncan "Dick" Pound, CC OQ QC is a Canadian lawyer and author and former swimmer. He is a former president of the World Anti-Doping Agency based in Montreal, and former chancellor of McGill University. He served as vice-president of the International Olympic Committee from 1987 to 1991 and again from 1996 to 2000, and was a one-time candidate for the presidency of that organization. Pound is a staunch advocate of strict drug testing for athletes. In 2005, Time magazine featured him as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World".
