Eric Brewer

Eric Peter Brewer is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. He is an NHL All-Star and Olympic gold medalist. He began his career as a distinguished junior ice hockey player, named to the Western Hockey League West Second All-Star Team and the Western Conference roster for the 1998 WHL All-Star Game. Drafted in the first round, fifth overall by the New York Islanders in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Brewer has spent parts of his fifteen-year NHL career with the Islanders, the Edmonton Oilers, and the St. Louis Blues, the latter of which he captained for two years.
