James B. Lee Jr., commonly known as Jimmy, is an investment banker, notable for his role in the development of the leveraged finance markets in the U.S. in the 1980s. Lee is widely credited as the architect of the modern-day syndicated loan market. Lee currently serves as vice chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a member of the bank’s executive committee.
