Keith Comstock

Keith Martin Comstock is a former left-handed relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. He went to high school in San Carlos, California and then played for the Minnesota Twins, San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners over his six-year career. He also played for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan in 1985-86. He is the rehab pitching coordinator for the Texas Rangers. He was featured in a June 1990 Sports Illustrated article in which they stated he, "had more cups of coffee than Juan Valdez" and that in 1983 he was sold from the Oakland A's to the Detroit Tigers for $100 and a bag of baseballs, which he had to deliver himself from one minor league spring training c ... more on Wikipedia
