Phil Edwards

Philip Aaron "Phil" Edwards, MD was a Canadian and Guyanese track and field athlete who competed in middle-distance events. Nicknamed the "Man of Bronze", he was Canada's most-decorated Olympian and the first Black Canadian man to win a trophy at what are now known as the Commonwealth Games. He was the first-ever winner of the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada's top athlete.
