Building a good, cheap drift car these days isn&#39;t quite as easy as it used to be.&nbsp;An ideal drift car is typically four things: Old, cheap, tunable for immense power, and (most critically) rear-wheel drive. Rally racing is probably the oldest form of motorsports on Earth, and it's seen some incredible machines in its time. Without a doubt, most of them came from the early 1980s - a time of turbocharged Group B monsters and their truly suicidal drivers. These days, as safety obsessed as NASCAR is, it&#39;s pretty easy to miss the fact that since 1950, NASCAR has actually averaged more than one death&nbsp;per year of racing. That&#39;s an attrition rate of about 2 to 3 percent -&nbsp;every year -&nbsp;among NASCAR drivers, making this sport one of the most dangerous occupations in the world.
