Delvey&rsquo;s deceit soon caught up with her when she couldn&#39;t pay her hotel bill of $30,000 - at which point&nbsp;she sent the staff a case of 1975 Dom P&eacute;rignon. Delvey left a friend with the bill for an extravagant vacation costing $62,000, which was more than the friend made in a year. And soon, it became clear that Delvey&rsquo;s loans would never be paid back, her wire transfers would never come through, and her hotel bills would always be outstanding.
